Celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Canadian Confederation through its founders and founding provinces, the Rendezvous 2017 Tall Ships Regatta will see over 40 tall ships from across the world come together for celebrations in various ports in Europe and North America.
As a part of their Canadian tour these ships will split up to visit 36 ports in 6 Canadian provinces, one of which will be Saint John. The tall ships set to visit Saint John are Fair Jeanne, Lord Nelson, Bowdoin, When and If, Picton Castle, Spirit of South Carolina, Europa, Wylde Swan, St Lawrence II and Mist of Avalon.
Did You Know? Many of these vessels offer an experience known as ‘Sail Training’, a course in personal and professional development championed by youth organisations, multi-national corporations and even navies from across the world.
