Celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Canadian Confederation through its founders and founding provinces, the Rendezvous 2017 Tall Ships Regatta will see over 40 tall ships from across the world come together for celebrations in various ports in Europe and North America.
As a part of their Canadian tour these ships will split up to visit 36 ports in 6 Canadian provinces, one of which will be Digby. The tall ships set to visit Digby are Picton Castle, Lord Nelson, Wylde Swan, St Lawrence II, When and If, Bowdoin and Bluenose II.
Did You Know? Many of these vessels offer an experience known as ‘Sail Training’, a course in personal and professional development championed by youth organisations, multi-national corporations and even navies from across the world.
